Project 1973 Porsche 911 (Part 2)

  • At this point the car moved into paint. We went down to bare metal and brought it back up again to factory correct 107 Light Yellow.


    This is the left over "primer" work that the original owner had attempted before it was sanded down to bare metal.


    The doors were relatively ding free. There were a couple of imperfect places.


    Oh that beautiful long hood...Beautiful bare body.


    Test fitment of the fenders.


    Basecoat beginning.It's starting to get serious.


    The bits and pieces drying in primer.


    Almost ready for paint.


    Still drying.


    Beautiful 107 Light Yellow wet sanded and shining!


    Virgin hood without the badge. Love that long hood!

    So next it's interior time.
